Katie was raised in Richmond, Virginia and made Brunswick County her home in 1999 taking the position of Hospitality Sales Manager with Bald Head Island Limited. 

She has been a licensed agent since 2000 with designations of Recreation & Resort Specialist and Certified Luxury Home Marketing Specialist and is a graduate of the REALTOR Institute and the University of Maryland, College Park.

She joined RE/MAX at the Beach in 2002 and received the Platinum award in 2005, 100% Club award in 2004 and 2003. She is now affiliated with RE/MAX Island Properties - Saba Office.

In 2005, Katie fulfilled a life long dream and purchased a residential and business property in the Caribbean and has made the small island of Saba in the Dutch West Indies her home for two years running a small building supply store and property management company. After some island fever and missing her North Carolina home, Katie returned to the barrier islands of Brunswick County where she actively markets properties locally and on the island of Saba.

She has a love for water and previous addresses also include Monterey Bay, CA and Chesapeake Bay, MD.
